UNOH Continues Conference March -- Tentchou Hat Tricks Again

DEFIANCE, OH - UNOH men's soccer continued their historic start to conference play Wednesday afternoon with another big win, 11-1, over Defiance. Already boasting the program's most dominant beginning to conference play, the Racers added another notch to their belt with the win pushing their goal differential in the last four games to +28 making it the best four-game stretch in the history of the program.

Michel Tentchou scored the first three goals of the game in less than ten minutes to bag his second consective hat trick and become the first Racer to net three times twice in the same season. He added a fourth in the second half to join teammate Eguzki Hashimoto as the only two players in program history with four scores in a match. Tentchou also assisted on the team's fourth goal of the day giving him a game total of nine points that tops the eleven-year old record of eight (Carlos Garces Suarez) which was tied by Hashimoto earlier this season.

Six other Racers also found the back of the net including Hashimoto who has now lit the board in four of the last five matches. Hashimoto added his first assist of the year and was joined by Alfie Roffey who scored and assisted in the game as well.

With eleven goals and seven assists, UNOH put up 29 points tying for the third most in a single game. They allowed just one shot while putting a record setting 25 of 40 on target (24 - 2022).

The Racers will try to continue their run and stay unbeaten in the WHAC with the second of two road games at Cornerstone on Saturday, October 4.
