Racers Stumble in Final Game of 2025

GRAND RAPIDS, MI - UNOH couldn't overcome a slow start at Aquinas Wednesday night trailing wire-to-wire in a 70-49 loss to the Saints.

UNOH began 1-16 in their final game of the 2025 half of the season and put up just five points as Aquinas rattled off 22 to put the game out of reach early. The Racer offense got back to their season averages in the other three quarters but couldn't overcome their initial shooting woes finishing with the team's lowest offensive output of the season.

Alysia Lawson led with 13 points but had a tough shooting night going just 5-24 from the field and 1-11 from outside. Brooke Asher was the only other Racer in double-figures finishing with eleven points going 4-9 from the field. Sanaiiya Gray led on the boards with six rebounds while scoring seven while Jordan Mueller put up eight off the bench.

UNOH will be off for 16 days before getting back into WHAC action at Cornerstone on January 3.
