Campbell, Wooten, Braun Highlight 2026 Softball Honors
The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) has released the 2026 Softball All-Conference awards that highlights one first team, two second team and eight academic team honors for UNOH.
Cecilia Campbell landed All-WHAC First Team for her first ever all-conference honor after leading the team with 31 RBI this season. The softball catcher also boasts a .995 fielding percentage making just one error on 183 chances while gunning down eleven runners, the program's second most in a season behind only her own record of 13 last year.
Junior transfer Tayler Braun was named All-WHAC Second Team in her first season with the program finishing as the team leader in batting average (.333), runs scored (33), hits (58), triples (6), and stolen bases (21).
Lanie Wooten made it three Racers on all-conference teams picking up second team honors in her sophomore season after being named first team a year ago. She was a work horse again in the circle leading the team with 176 innings pitched, more than 100 more than the team's next closest, and already sits second all-time with 379.1 in just two seasons.
Seniors Hailee Edgell and Sydney Feenstra both earned their second career All-Academic Team honors and were joined by Mallory Horvath, Celeste Rummell, Cecilia Campbell, Allison Feuerbacher and Alyssa McCain who all picked up their first academic mention.
Rounding out the awards was Paige Becker who was selected as the UNOH representative on the WHAC Champions of Character Team.
