Softball Loses First of Three at Lindsey Wilson
COLUMBIA, KY - UNOH softball began a three-game series at Lindsey Wilson on Monday falling behind early in a 5-0 loss.
The Racers gave up three in the home first and never recovered with the Blue Raiders adding one in the fourth and the final run in the sixth. UNOH put multiple runners in scoring position in each of the third, fourth and fifth innings but were denied getting on the scoreboard each time.
Sydney Feenstra was the only Racer with more than one hit going 2-3 at the dish for her first multi-hit game of the season.
Lanie Wooten (2-3) tossed a complete game to take the loss allowing five runs on ten hits, four earned, with two strike outs and no walks.
UNOH and Lindsey Wilson will play games two and three of the series on Tuesday with first pitch of the doubleheader scheduled for 1:00 PM.
