Men's Golf Season Ends at NAIA National Champoinship

SILVIS, IL - UNOH men's golf saw the 2025-26 season come to a close Wednesday at the NAIA Men's National Championship after missing the final cut going into round three. The Racers sat tied for 25th after day one but had a difficult second day falling three spots to 28th with a 321.

Luke S. Turner shot a team low 152 with rounds of 75 and 77 followed by Jose Luis Vargas sitting one stroke back. Vargas followed his day one 74 with a 79 on day two ending the tournament with a 153. Guillermo Garron went 78 and 82 for a 160 with Kyle Sutton finishing with a 161 after shooting 78 and 83. Oliver Rogers hit 83 in round one but was subbed out by Adrian Martin for the second round who finished off the team scoring with an 87.

The Racers end the season with the program's fifth lowest team average in 18 seasons combining for a 294.23. Garron led qualifying players with a 73.58 season average earning five top fives and six top tens playing in all ten varsity events. Vargas finished just a fraction of a stroke back averaging 73.69 with one individual medal, three top five finishes and five top fives.
