LIMA, OH - After being away from home since December 13, UNOH trailed for just 15 seconds of their first 40 minutes back home controlling Cleary from start to finish for an 87-66 win.
The game stayed within two possessions for the first twelve minutes but a quick 10-0 run for the Racers put them up 15 at the 5:49 mark of the first half. The Cougars clawed their way back to within six points, but it was as close as they would get as the Racers kept pulling away to finish off the 21-point victory, their biggest in conference play this season.
Antonio King led all scorers for the second consectutive game putting up 23 points on 8-17 (47%) shooting. King's night was impressive all around as he dished out six assists and swiped five steals, both career bests, while pulling down five rebounds. Caleb Chapman and Alex Benson both tallied 15 points with Chapman knocking down three triples and Benson recording six assists and four steals. Chance Groce chipped in ten off the bench while Jyheim Spencer fell one bucket short of a double-double with 13 boards and eight points.
The Racers shot 50% as a team combining for 39 rebounds and 17 assists, both the team's best marks in conference play.
UNOH will try to make it three wins in a row for the first time this season when they host UM-Dearborn on Saturday, January 10.
