Men's Basketball Overpowered by RCU 92-68

ROCHESTER HILLS, MI - UNOH men's basketball hung around with a tough Rochester Christian team for 25 minutes, but the Warriors exploded late to run away from the Racers 92-68.

The Racers trailed by as many as twelve points in the first half but kept hanging around to trail by just four, 38-34, at the break. UNOH took their first lead of the game less than three minutes into the second half and held their advantage until the 15:43 mark when the Warriors tied the game at 48-48. Rochester Christian started to find their rhythm and ripped off an incredible 22-5 run that blew the game open with 8:35 to play. The Warriors continued to pour it on pushing the lead up to as many as 26 points to hand the Racers their third straight conference loss to start the season.

Free throws were a major problem for UNOH all night hitting just ten of 25 attempts while Rochester Christian knocked down 26 of 30. They also had a difficult time in the paint with the Warriors out rebounding 44-27.

Antonio King led the team in scoring for a third straight game putting up 13 with five rebounds. Kahlil Davis was the only other Racer in double-figures scoring eleven with four assists and two steals.

UNOH will hit the road one more time before they break for Thanksgiving heading to Livonia, Michigan for a showdown with Madonna on Tuesday night, November 25.
