Volleyball Honors Six Seniors Friday Night

LIMA, OH - UNOH volleyball celebrated six seniors Friday night as they took on Lawrence Tech in The Garage. Maggie Czachowski, Shamyria DuBose, Savanna Reed, Emilija Prolic, Abigail Martin and Gianna San Filippo were all honored before the match as they conclude their senior seasons this weekend.

Martin and San Filippo both suffered season ending injuries earlier in the year but Martin had already cemented herself in the history books becoming the fifth player in program history and just the second since 2017 to log 1,000 career kills. San Filippo sits seventh all-time in career blocks earning a program record 192 in her only full season with the team last year and will return for a fifth year next season.

Reed will graduate as just the fourth player in the history of UNOH volleyball to hit the 2,000 career assists mark with 2,282 over her four years. The 2025 season was the only one at UNOH for Prolic who has a tally of 88 kills and 42 total blocks over the campaign.

DuBose is tenth all-time in total blocks logging 166 over just two years while earning 348 kills. Czachowski also played just two seasons at UNOH finishing with 48 kills and 19 blocks.

The Racers fell in straight sets to the Blue Devils (25-19, 25-11, 25-17) Friday night but will have one final chance to get in the win column when they host Rochester Christian on Saturday in the 2025 season finale.
