Orlova Earns First WHAC Player of the Week Award

The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) announced Monday that Northwestern Ohio's Ekaterina Orlova has been voted Player of the Week for the week ending February 9.

The junior transfer helped her team blank NCAA DII Edinboro, 7-0, with dominate wins in both her doubles and singles matchups on Saturday. Orlova played with teammate Margarita Tatur in No. 1 doubles for a comfortable 6-2 win before rolling over her No. 2 singles opponent 6-0, 6-1.
