WHAC Names Ashurbekova Women's Tennis Player of the Week

The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) has named Northwestern Ohio's Munisa Ashurbekova the Women's Tennis Player of the Week. It is the first POTW for the freshman who becomes the fifth different Racer to win the award this season and the program's third straight.

Ashurbekova went 2-0 in the final match of the regular season helping her Racers clinch their first regular season title since 2019. With teammate and last weeks winner Ana Cetina, Ashurbekova took care of the No. 1 doubles 6-1 before making quick work of her No. 2 singles matchup, 6-1, 6-0.
