Vaillant Wins First WHAC Player of the Week Award

Northwestern Ohio's Agathe Vaillant has been named Player of the Week by the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC), it was announced Monday. She becomes the third different Racer to win the award this season and the fifth overall.

Vaillant earned the award after helping her No. 17 Racers blank defending WHAC Champion (RV) Cornerstone 7-0 on Saturday. She teamed up with Jelena Lopicic in No. 1 Doubles winning 6-2 before finishing off No. 5 Singles 6-2, 6-2 to hand the Golden Eagles their first conference loss of the season.

Vaillant is now 8-1 this season in dual singles and 13-4 overall.
