Bio

Elisha Fry took over the program in 2023 as just the third coach in program history, coming to UNOH after working as the Lindsey Wilson Assistant Women's Soccer Coach for eight years. During her time at LWC, she also served as the Head Coach of the Blue Raiders junior varsity program.

Fry began her coaching career as a Graduate Assistant at The University of Rio Grande from 2013-14 before taking an assistant coach position at NCAA Division III MacMurray College in 2014. She was elevated to Interim Head Coach in March of 2015 before heading to Lindsey Wilson. Fry also coached at the club level leading the Athletico Flame’s U18 and U17 girls’ soccer teams from 2016-19. Fry also serves as an assistant coach at the W League level coaching the Chattanooga Lady Red Wolves as well as the head coach at the U21 Academy.

Fry played her collegiate career at Lindsey Wilson getting named to the Mid-South Conference (MSC) All-Conference team in 2010 and 2012 with a NAIA All-American honor in 2010. She also won the NAIA National Championship in 2012.

Fry graduated from Lindsey Wilson College with a bachelor’s in physical education and health K-12. She also has her master’s degree in athletic Coaching and Leadership.

In her first year with the Racers, Fry led the program to it's best record since 2019 (14-6-3) winning the WHAC Tournament Title and earning a bid to the NAIA national tournament. UNOH defeated Georgia Gwinnett, 1-0, in the First Round, the program's first national tournament victory since 2019, before falling to the eventual national champions in round two.

 

In year two, Fry's Racers put together the program's best conference record since 2019 going 10-1-1 and finishing second overall in the final WHAC standings. UNOH finished 14-4-4 overall earning a the program's second consecutive bid to the NAIA First & Second Rounds for the tenth time in eleven seasons. UNOH logged 14 shutouts over 22 games scoring 70 goals with 50 assists for 190 total points, all the program's most since 2019. The Racers set the single game scoring record with 14 goals against Concordia putting a program record 35 shots on goal. Fry's teams have also been impressive in the classroom with 27 landing WHAC All-Academic Honors and 19 named NAIA Scholar-Athletes in just her first two seasons at the helm.
