WHAC Women's Soccer Tournament Update

Following the conclusion of Wednesday night's quarterfinal matchup between Rochester Christian University (RCU) and Siena Heights University (SHU), it was discovered, and later confirmed, that an ineligible player from RCU participated in the contest.

As per policy (VI, Section B, 9) of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and the National Administrative Council (NAC), and review of the National Eligibility Committee, Wednesday's game between RCU and SHU has been retroactively ruled a forfeit. 

Siena Heights will be awarded a 1-0 victory via forfeit, but will not advance to the semifinal round. This is in alignment with NAIA precedent regarding forfeits in postseason play. UNOH will advance to the tournament final where they await the winner of #1 Aquinas vs. #4 Lourdes.
