Binyahya Snags Fourth WHAC Golfer of the Week Award

For the third straight week and the fourth time this fall, Northwestern Ohio's Sharifah Binyahya has earned the title of Women's Golfer of the Week the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) announced on Monday.

Binyahya earns the award after picking up her fourth individual medal at her fourth event of the fall, the program's most in a single season. After battling through a disappointing 5-over 76 in round one of the Stonehenge Invitational, Binyahya rebounded with a 2-under 69 in round two to jump five spots and tie for first place with a 145 (+3). It took three playoff holes, but Binyahya edged out her opponent on the green to take the individual title.

It is Binyahya's sixth career Golfer of the Week honor giving her the most in program history.
