Women's Golf Honors Released: Binyahya Golfer of the Year

AUGUSTA, MI - The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) has released the 2024 Women's Golf Honors in conjunction with the 2024 Women's Championship tournament.

After finishing on top at the WHAC Women's Championship, Northwestern Ohio's Sharifah Binyahya was named Player of the Year, her first and the program's third in three years. She was also named First Team All-WHAC for the second time. After winning Newcomer of the Year last season, Ebba Nordin picked up her second first team award with freshman Primross Chikwaya capping her inaugurall season with first team honors.

Rafaella Brigante landed on second team for her third all-conference award of her career and Bellefontaine product Kayla Watkins joined her in her freshman season.

Brigante added her second All-Academic award and Wayne Trace product Kenadie Daeger earned her first.

After leading her team to it's sixth straight WHAC title, head coach Dawn West was again named Coach of the Year.
