Primross Shines as Women's Golf Places Second at Lourdes Spring Invite

UNOH women's golf finished second of eight teams at the Lourdes Spring Invitational as Primross Chikwaya won her first individual title with the program's lowest 18-holes in five years.

Chikwaya paced the field by five strikes in the 18-hole tournament shooting a 4-under 68 that matches the program's lowest round ever set in 2019. It is the freshman's first top finish of her career and third top-five of season. Rafaella Brigante earned her first top-five of the season in fourth place with a 78 (+6). Kenadie Daeger carded a season best 81 (+9) with Kayla Watkins and Riley Daeger rounding out the team with a 91 and 98, respectively.

The event marks the end of the regular season for women's golf as they prepare to defend their five straight conference titles. The 2024 WHAC Women's Championship will be played April 22-23 at Stonehedge Golf Club in Augusta, Mich.
