Women's Golf Begins Spring Season Fourth at The Pines

COLUMBIA, KY - In the first tournament of the spring season, UNOH women's golf finished fourth at the Blue Raider Spring Invitational played at The Pines at Lindsey Wilson. As a team, UNOH shot rounds of 318, 309 and 311 for a tournament total of 938.

Sharifah Binyahya was the Racers' top finisher after a 54-hole season low 229 (+14). Binyahya shot 76 in rounds one and two with a 77 in round three for a fifth place tie in the field of 40. Ebba Nordin finished in a tie for 13th with a 232 shooting 83, 77 and a round three low of 72. Primoss Chikwaya tied for 17th going 78, 76, 83 for a tournament total of 237. 

Rafaella Brigante also set a season low for a 54-hole tournament with a 240 after shooting 81, 80, 79. Kayla Watkins rounded out the team scoring with rounds of 85, 91 and 83 for a total of 259.

UNOH will have a quick turnaround as they head to Shepherdsville, Ky. for the LTU Heritage Hill Collegiate on March 22-23.
