Racers Finish Fall Season with 6th Place Finish at TPC Deere Run

SILVIS, IL - UNOH women's golf wrapped up their fall portion of the season at the TPC Deere Run Invitational that featured 69 golfers representing 13 teams including No. 10 Indiana Wesleyan, No. 18 Marian, No. 19 SCAD-Atlanta and four teams receiving votes just outside the top 25 (William Penn, Bellevue, Briar Cliff, St. Ambrose). The Racers finished in sixth place with a team score of 1007 over three rounds.

Sharifah Binyahya was the top finisher for UNOH in fifth place, her second top five of the fall and team-leading fourth top ten. Binyahya carded 82, 79, 78 for a 239 tournament total taking over the team's top spot with a fall average of 77.44. Rafaella Brigante and Primross Chikwaya tied at 26th with 255 each. Brigante shot 88-80-87 and Chikwaya finished with 84-80-91. Ebba Nordin hit 261 and Kayla Watkins rounded out the team scoring with a 273.

The Racers will be off until the spring links schedule begins. The spring schedule will be officially set and released at a later date.
