Francisco Perez Voted WHAC Player of the Week

The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) has named Northwestern Ohio's Francisco Perez the Men's Tennis Player of the Week after finishing 6-1 overall through four matches.

Perez took his only loss of the week in his first matchup dropping second line doubles 4-6 against No. 9 Holy Cross on Monday before bouncing back with a 6-2, 6-3 win in second line singles. He was unfinished in his singles matchup against No. 8 Lindsey Wilson but took the No. 2 doubles slot 7-5 on Tuesday. Perez made quick work of his opponents versus Bethel to end the day Tuesday winning No. 2 doubles 6-3 and No. 1 singles 6-0, 6-2 before ending the week with another dominate performance against Goshen Thursday winning first line doubles 6-0 and second line singles 6-2, 6-2.
