Perez Picks Up First WHAC POTW Award

The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) announced Northwestern Ohio's Lucas Perez as the Men's Tennis Player of the Week on Monday. With the first of his career, the sophomore Argentinian becomes the sixth different Racer to win the award this season.

Perez went 2-0 in the final matchup of the regular season capping the program's tenth-straight undefeated campaign and ninth-straight WHAC title. He teamed with Nils Messin to win No. 2 doubles 6-3 and won his No. 3 singles matchup 6-0, 6-2 in a 7-0 blanking of Aquinas on Sunday.
