Stanchev Wins WHAC Player of the Week

The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) has announced Northwestern Ohio's Martin Stanchev as the Men's Tennis Player of the Week. It his Stanchev's second POTW Award this season and the third of his career.

Stanchev went 2-0 in the team's 4-0 win over No. 17 Lindsey Wilson that pushed his Racers to 7-1 this season. He won his No. 1 Doubles matchup 6-2 alongside teammate Daniel Vishnick and went on to take the clinching point with a 7-5, 6-1 win in No. 3 Singles.

Stanchev is 10-3 in overall singles and 8-5 in doubles this season.
