Conde Voted WHAC Player of the Week

Sergio Conde has been named the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Men's Tennis Player of the Week for his performance at the ITA Midwest Regional Championship.

Conde went 6-0 in the singles tournament, including wins over No. 9, No. 12 and No. 2 seed players to win the Midwest Regional Championship and qualify for the ITA Cup played in Rome, Georgia beginning October 12. Conde also had an impressive run in the doubles tournament going 4-1 and making it to the final with teammate Lucas Perez. Conde fell short of sweeping the regional thanks to two of his other teammates, Martin Stanchev and Malik Omarkhanov, who took the doubles title 6-1, 6-4.

It is Conde's fifth career Player of the Week award and his first of the 2023-24 season.
