Men's Soccer Jumps into NAIA Top 25
KANSAS CITY, MO - For the first time since 2022, UNOH men's soccer has cracked the regular season top 25 with the release of the most recent NAIA Coaches' Top 25 Poll on Wednesday.
The Racers had been receiving votes since the first regular season poll of the year but have finally broken through the top 25 and now sit at No. 23 in the country. The the program's first regular season ranking since November 9, 2022 when they were ranked No. 17 in the final poll.
UNOH hasn't lost a match since August 30 (No. 21 Marian, 3-2) going the entire month of September unbeaten at 6-0-1. The Racers earned four clean sheets during that span allowing just 4.4 shots on goal per game. Their dominant start to conference play is also the best in program history outscoring their first three opponents 20-2 giving them a +18-goal differential, the program's best three-game stretch since 2017 (+21).
Around the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC), Indiana Tech (6-3-1) dropped five spots to No. 17 while Madonna (9-0-1) jumped two to No. 18. Both teams will host No. 23 UNOH late in the year with the Madonna match scheduled for October 15 and Indiana Tech October 22.
