UNOH Picks Up Road Win to End Regular Season

HOWELL, MI - UNOH never trailed in the final match of the regular season but still had to fend off a pesky Cleary squad to earn a 4-2 win on the road.

Michel Tentchou put the Racers on the board first in the 28th minute and that lead held into the second half. Finally, the Cougars broke through in the 53rd minuteand tied the match but it set off a flurry of goals over the next 14 mintues. Alfie Roffey put UNOH up again in the 57th minute but Cleary answered right back in the 62nd. Natxo Sanchez, who assisted on the Racers' second goal, went to work himself to seal the match with the game winner in the 66th followed by the final dagger in the 80th to secure a 4-2 win.

Ross Synnott (1-1-0) made five saves over 90 minutes in front of net to earn his first win of the season.

The win puts UNOH fifth in the final conference standings setting up a WHAC Quarterfinal matchup at fourth-seeded Aquinas on Tuesday, November 5.
