UNOH Garners Three Players of the Year, Five All-Conference Mentions in 2026 Men's Golf Awards

UNOH men's golf was well represented in the 2026 WHAC Men's Golf All-Conference honors officially released Wednesday morning. In conjuction with their WHAC Championship, the Racers boasted Co-Golfers of the Year, Newcomer of the Year, Coach of the Year and five all-conference selections based off performances over two WHAC events this season.

Oliver Rogers and Guillermo Garron shared the honor of Co-Golfers of the Year with Axel Houdaille of Cleary as the top three players tied at 441 after six rounds of WHAC competition. Both Rogers and Garron were also named First Team All-WHAC joined by Jose Luis Vargas with all three earning the their second first team honor. 

Freshman Kyle Sutton shot 453 over the two tournaments to earn the title of Newcomer of the Year while also picking up Second Team All-WHAC honors. Sophomore Luke S. Turner finish right above Sutton in the final standings to land his first all-conference selection on the second team.

After leading his team to the WHAC Championship for a second time, head coach Eric West was awarded his second WHAC Coach of the Year honor.

Garron also added Champions of Character Team to his list of accolades with five Racers landing on the All-Academic Team tying the program record: Adrian Martin, Luke S. Turner, Oscar Lind, Jordan Johnstone, Jaiden Pass
