Eric comes to UNOH after being selected to the Miami Dade All-City team his senior year. Rated as a top prospect by Perfect Game, Eric played a major role in the success of the LaSalle High School baseball program. "Eric is an outstanding young man who has a passion for the game. Eric will need to prove himself offensively at the college level as he moves forward in the program. Eric could see early at bats this season for the young Racers out of the DH role."

Eric is the son of Salvador and Ana Rodriguez who reside in Miami, Florida
