Turner Voted Mercy Health Athlete of the Month

LIMA, OH - Each month, UNOH teams up with Mercy Health to award an Athlete of the Month based on their athletic and academic performance as well as being a positive representative for UNOH and UNOH Athletics. Each month's winner will be presented with a T-Shirt from Cappy's Sportswear and a $25 gift certificate from Lock 16 Steakhouse. Nominees are presented by their respective coaches and voted on by the UNOH Athletic Training staff and Athletic Administration.

Luke Turner earned his second Athlete of the Month honor after helping lead his Racers to two team titles over the Month of October. Turner finished T-8th at the WHAC Fall Preview as UNOH ran away from the field by 31 strokes to start the month. He then finished as the top Racer at the Music City Collegiate in a tie for 13th in a difficult 104 player field. The month was capped with another team title at the St. Andrews Fall Classic by ten strokes with Turner picking up his third career individual medal finishing 1-under.

Turner shot an average score of 71.86 for the month picking up two WHAC Golfer of the Week awards giving him four in his career.
