Kevin Kitchen has accepted the position of Head Women's Volleyball Coach for the University of Northwestern Ohio. Kitchen graduated from Lima Central Catholic High School and Walsh University. He has coached volleyball at all levels, including six seasons of Varsity volleyball and five seasons of Junior Olympic Volleyball at the National level. Kitchen has been selected as the District 9 (Division 1) Coach of the Year three times. He currently teaches Elementary Physical Education at Piqua City Schools.

Beginning in 2008, the University of Northwestern Ohio is adding Women's Volleyball to their sports line up. The Racers Volleyball team will compete in the American Mideast Conference and in Division II of the NAIA.
