The UNOH Racers Volleyball team traveled to Whiting, IN over the weekend to play in their final invitational of the season. The Racers went 3-0 in pool play, and then defeated Goshen in the Championship match to win the Crimson Wave Invite. Junior Roshelle Watercutter was named the MVP of the tournament.

In their first match of the weekend, the Racers lost their only game of the weekend in the first set, but went on to defeat William Penn 3-1. Roshelle Watercutter led the attack with 16 kills. Junior Katie Luebke and Sophomore Meagan Enyart each had 12 kills. Sophomore Debbie Brubaker had 43 assists in the match. Roshelle Watercutter also had 2 aces in the match and led the Racers with 21 digs. Sophomore Kelly Oldiges had 19 digs, while Sophomore Jessica Prince and Debbie Brubaker each had 12. Meagan Enyart also had a total of 5 blocks.

In their second match on Friday night, the Racers downed host Calumet-St. Joseph 3-0. Roshelle Watercutter led the attack again with 14 kills, and Meagan Enyart was right behind with 10. Debbie Brubaker had 23 assists in two sets of action, while Sophomore Chelsea Hostetter had 12 in the match. Sophomore Chelsea Crow and Jessica Prince each had 2 aces.

On Saturday morning, the Racers faced Grace and downed them 3-0 as well. Roshelle Watercutter and Katie Luebke each had 10 kills, while Debbie Brubaker had 35 assists. Roshelle Watercutter set the new school record for aces in a match with 5. Watercutter also had 12 digs. Kelly Oldiges had 12 digs while Jessica Prince had 11.

In the championship match, the Racers downed Goshen in quick fashion by a final of 3-0. Roshelle Watercutter led the Racers attack with 13 kills, and Meagan Enyart was right behind with 12 of her own. Debbie Brubaker added to her assists total with 35. Kelly Oldiges had 2 aces and led the Racers in digs with 18. Jessica Prince had 12, Debbie Brubaker had 11, and Roshelle Watercutter had 10 digs on the match.

The Racers won the 3rd Annual Crimson Wave Invite by winning pool play and then winning the championship match. Racers' Roshelle Watercutter was named tournament MVP and Meagan Enyart was named to the all-tournament team.

The Racers currently stand at 24-10 on the season, and will finish the rest of the regular season with a crucial stretch of AMC matches beginning with Monday's afternoon match against Point Park.
