Jan. 26, 2010

Sabrina Lemmink signed an NAIA National Letter of Intent on December 18, 2009 to continue her athletic and academic careers at the University of Northwestern Ohio in the Fall of 2010.

Sabrina is a 5'9" senior from Taylor High School in North Bend, Ohio. Lemmink is an outside hitter and has received All-CHL (Cincinnati Hills League) honors four times and District 16 honors twice. As a senior, she was named the CHL Player of the Year. She has also received the Anthony Munoz Leadership award four times and was named by ESPN - Rise magazine as one of the Top 10 players in the Greater Cincinnati area. She played for Coach Jessica Bates and has also been a member of Mizuno Cincy Classics Volleyball Club, where her 16 Red team finished runner up in the 2008 USA Volleyball Championships.

Sabrina is the daughter of Tom Lemmink and Tina Del Vecchio and plans to major in Marketing while attending UNOH.

Coach Kitchen stated about Sabrina, "Sabrina's personality is very addicting. She is always smiling and I look forward to the opportunity to have her in our program. She is going to fit in perfectly with everyone associated with UNOH. From a volleyball perspective, her court awareness and ability to hit shots to all parts of the court is tremendous. She will definitely compete for a spot on our outside/right side instantly."
