Final Stats

The UNOH Racers squared off against IU East in their final regular season match on the campus of UNOH on Tuesday evening. The Racers were unable to complete the comeback as they fell in the 5th set 15-10 to fall 3-2 to the Red Wolves.

The Racers lost the first two sets 25-21 and 29-27, then rallied to win the next two at 25-16 and 25-23. They were unable to keep the momentum as IU East ran away in the third to win 15-10.

Leading the attack for the Racers was Sophomore Meagan Enyart with 19 kills and 6 blocks. Junior's Katie Luebke and Roshelle Watercutter were right behind with 16 and 12 kills each. Sophomore Debbie Brubaker had 36 assists on the match.

Sophomore Kelly Oldiges had 30 digs in the match. Roshelle Watercutter chipped in on the effort with 21 digs of her own.

The Racers fall to 27-13 on the season. The Racers will begin postseason play on Friday afternoon as they will face the #4 seed Point Park. The Racers are the #5 seed and the winner of the match with face #1 Mt. Vernon Nazarene on Saturday morning for a chance to move onto the finals. The match between UNOH and Point Park will start at 2:00 pm.
