Results

The Lady Racers Tennis got a win in their books over the weekend as they traveled to Defiance College on Sunday. The Racers got all but one match in despite Hurricane Ike's windy and rainy conditions. The Racers used every match to show their dominance as they won 8-0.

In singles play, the Racers all won in straight sets. Carling Barrett didn't lose a single game in her match as she went 6-0, 6-0. Jamie Hilborn, Tara Carr, Ashley Carmack, and Erynn Piper finished their matches as Ashlea Wills was winning at the time of the rain, but did not get to finish the victory.

In doubles play, Jamie Hilborn and Ashley Carmack won 8-6, Tara Carr and Erynn Piper dominated their match 8-0, and Erin Brooks and Amy Shilling won 8-4.

The Racers will take part in the ITA Midwest Championships at Cedarville University starting on Thursday.
