The University of Northwestern Ohio Women's Golf Team took part in the John Spiess Memorial Tournament in Wauseon, OH on Tuesday afternoon. The Lady Racers kicked off this fall with a couple new faces and have found success so far in the fall season. The Lady Racers had an excellent day as they shot a team total 356 to finish 1st at the event. This was the first tournament play championship for the Lady Racers. The Lady Racers were led by medalist Christy Brinkman and her 82. Erin Winings was right behind her in 2nd as she shot an 83. Hollie Johnston shot a 93, while Melissa Finch and Vanessa Herbert shot 98 and 99 respectively. The Lady Racers will be back in action on September 22nd as they will play in the Defiance College Yellow Jacket Fall Invitational. Final Team Standings:
