The UNOH Lady Racers Golf Team played in the Olivet Fall Invitational over the weekend. The Lady Racers fired a two day total of 735 to finish in 10th place out of 15 teams. On Day 1 for the Lady Racers, Sophomore Christy Brinkman led the team with an 89. Senior Erin Winings was right behind with a 90. Sophomore Melissa Finch shot a 92. Senior Vanessa Herbet finished with a 96 to give the team a Day 1 total of 367. Junior Hollie Johnston shot a 107. Junior Rachael Cox, playing as an individual shot a 111. On Day 2, the Lady Racers were consistent as they fired a 368. Leading the way on Day 2 was Erin Winings with an 89. Christy Brinkman shot a 91. Melissa Finch shot a 94 on the day. Hollie Johnston's score of 94 was used on Day 2 to finish the team scoring. Vanessa Herbert shot a 112 and Rachael Cox shot a 118. For the event, the Lady Racers shot a 375. Erin Winings finished T-25th, while Christy Brinkman was T-28th. Melissa Finch was T-42nd. The Lady Racers will be back in action on Monday and Tuesday, September 14th and 15th at the Walsh Invitational. |
