Dan Reinicke enters his third season as the head women's golf coach at University of Northwestern Ohio. During the 2008-09 campaign, the lady golfers finished 4th overall at the American Mideast Conference tournament. It was the first postseason action for the Lady Racer Golf Team.

Also during the season, the Racers won two tournaments. The Racers took home honors at the John Speiss Memorial Golf Tournament and also won the Capital Fall Invitational. The John Speiss Tournament was the first win at a tournamentfor the Women's Golf Team's short history.

In his first season as head coach of the Racers, the women's golf team finished 7-54 on the season in all tournaments and matches. The Racers did end the season by defeating AMC opponents Notre Dame and Ursuline.

Reinicke was previously the head women's golf coach at Lima Central Catholic High School for six seasons. While at LCC, Reinicke compiled a record of 778 wins and 168 losses. He also led his golf teams to five Division I state qualifiers and five league championships. Reinicke also received Northwest District Division I coach of the year four times.

He received his bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Political Science from Ashland University. Reinicke also received a Doctor of Law from Ohio Northern University. Reinicke is married to Patricia and they have two children, Marc and Eric.
