Box Score

The Lady Racers had a tough weekend on the road this weekend as they traveled to the state of Kentucky to face Campbellsville University and Lindsey Wilson College. Both schools are NAIA Division I members and UNOH knew going in that they would have to play their best basketball of the season to come away with the upsets. The talented opponents made it tough for UNOH as Campbellsville beat UNOH 94-51 and Lindsey Wilson downed the Lady Racers 86-66.

In the matchup with Campbellsville, the Lady Racers found it hard to shoot in Kentucky as they went down early and went to the break trailing 51-19. The defecit was insurmountable for the women of UNOH and fell eventually 94-51. The only bright spot on the afternoon was the double-double performance by freshman Krissy Koester as she reached 14 points and 10 rebounds.

On Saturday afternoon against Lindsey Wilson College, the Lady Racers once again came out cold in the opening half. They went into the break trailing 49-25. The Lady Racers attempted 21 three pointers in the first half and connected on only 5 of them. UNOH attempted 18 more three pointers in the second half in an effort to get back into the game. Krissy Koester reached double figures again with 14 points. Helping her in the effort was Molly French who chipped in 10 points.

The two losses moves the Lady Racers to 2-12 on the season and are currently on an 11 game losing streak. The Lady Racers will be back in action this Thursday, January 10th as they will face Mt. Vernon Nazarene in a makeup of the game that was cancelled on Dec. 15th. The game will start at 7:00 pm.
