The UNOH men's tennis team welcomed Otterbein to Lima on Sunday afternoon for the first time in school history. The Racers sent the Cardinals back home without a point earned in the 9 matches that took place. The Racers won the match 9-0. In doubles play, the tandems of Jeff Brown and Juan Cardenas, and William Draur and Chris Cash won 8-6 in their matches. While Jason Sarno and Bryan Wright won their match in dominant fashion 8-0. In singles play, all Racers won in straight sets. Jeff Brown improved his freshman campaign to 4-1, while Juan Cardenas moved to 2-0 in singles. Evan Carr also moved to 4-1 on the year. William Draur and Troy Schroeder each moved to 3-1 on the season. Jason Sarno pulled his record back to .500 where he now stands at 2-2. The Racers are now 3-2 on the fall season. They will be back in action on Saturday, October 4th when they travel to take on Grace College.
