The UNOH Men's Tennis team traveled to Ohio Northern on Tuesday afteroon looking for revenge of last season's loss. The Racers took the Polar Bears to the limits but fell short 5-4 in the match. In doubles play, the two lone Freshman on the roster, Jeff Brown and Juan Cardenas, got the Racers their only victory as they won their match 9-8. Cardenas was also playing in his first collegiate match ever for the Racers. In singles play, the Racers managed a split. Jeff Brown and Evan Carr each won their matches in straight sets. Juan Cardenas dropped his opening set, but won the final two sets to grab the victory. Chris Cash lost his match in three sets to end the match and the Racers fell 5-4. The Racers are now 2-2 on the season while the Polar Bears moved to 1-0. The Racers will be back in action on Sunday, September 28th when they will host Otterbein for their final home match of the fall season at 12:00 pm.
