Results

The UNOH Racers faced Ohio Northern on Saturday morning on the campus of UNOH. The Racers and Polar Bears went 3 sets in all of the singles matches, but UNOH won 5 of the 6 to rout ONU by a final of 7-2.

In doubles play, the Racers got off to a great start as they took 2 of the 3 matches. At doubles 1, Sophomore's Jeff Brown and Juan Cardenas won their match 8-5. At doubles 3, Freshman Alexander Hager and Junior Chris Cash edged their match by a final of 8-6.

In singles play, Jeff Brown won at the #1 with scores of 6-4, 3-6, and 6-2. At the #3, Alexander Hager won 6-4, 5-7, 6-1. Junior Jason Sarno won at the #4 singles with scores of 7-6(3), 3-6, 6-2. Junior Evan Carr's win at the #5 singles clinched the 5th victory of the day for the Racers as he won 6-2, 3-6, 6-4. At the #6, Chris Cash rallied to win 6-7(3), 6-4, 7-6(5).

In extras play, Juniors Bryan Wright and Logan Wyse each won in straight sets.

The Racers are now 3-0 on the season and will be back in action on Sunday afternoon as they will play host to Defiance College with the start time set at 1:00 PM.
