The UNOH Men's tennis team ventured to Hilton Head, South Carolina to take part in their first outdoor match of the year. The Racers faced some great competition from across the country and ended the week at 2-3. The Racers defeated Hartwick 7-2 and Principia 7-2 over the period of the week. UNOH lost to Colby 9-0, Sioux Falls 8-1, and Erskine 8-1. After the week, the Racers now stand at 5-9 for their first collegiate season ever. In singles play, two Racers returned home with winning records; Jason Sarno and Logan Wyse each finished the week 3-2. Evan Carr and Troy Schroeder each grabbed two victories and finished 2-3. William Draur took home one victory and finished 1-4. Bryan Wright, who played No. 1 all week ran into tough competition and finished the week 0-5. In doubles play, the tandems of Evan Carr - Troy Schroeder and William Draur - Taylor Frangie each went 2-3 during the week. At the No. 1 spot, Bryan Wright - Jason Sarno went 1-4 for the week. The Racers will be back in action on Monday, March 31st when they travel to Walsh University with the match set to begin at 3:00 PM. |
