The men's golf team took part in the Wittenberg Fall Invitational on Tuesday for one of their final events of the fall. The Racers got an outstanding effort from Scott Kayser to finish 9th for the tournament out of 15 teams.

On Day 1, the Racers were led by Scott Kayser and his 76. The Racers then fell in order as Jason Klaus and Joe Rodriguez each fired 83's, Daniel Rex with an 84, and Jake Swartz with an 85. The Racers were in 10th place after Day 1.

On Day 2, the Racers brought a little more to the course, as once again they were led by Scott Kayser and his personal best, 72. Daniel Rex was next for the Racers with a 78. Joe Rodriguez capped off the round in the 70's with a 79. Jason Klaus and Jake Swartz shot an 80 and an 84.

For the event, the Racers were led by Scott Kayser and a two-day total of 148. His two rounds was good enough to finish 8th overall for the event. Daniel Rex and Joe Rodriguez finished the event with an equal score of 162. Jason Klaus was right behind them with a 163. Jake Swartz finished the team off with a 169.

The Racers will close out their fall season on Satuday, October 11th when they will compete in the Ohio Northern University Fall Invitational at Colonial Golf Course.
