The Racers took part in the University of Findlay Outback Steakhouse Invitational over the weekend. Despite harsh weather conditions, the Racers remained consistent in the event and fired 322 on both days of the event. With a team total of 644, the Racers finished tied for 9th place out of 12 teams. With UNOH being the only NAIA school competing in the event, the Racers were up to a huge challenge competing against teams from the GLIAC conference in NCAA Division II and against Ohio Northern from NCAA III. On Day 1 of the event, the Racers found themselves in a tie with Gannon University after they fired 322's. University of Findlay was in first place after firing an astounding 299. The Racers got an outstanding performance from Jason Klaus on Day 1 as he fired a 73 to open the tournament, which put him in 2nd overall for individual scoring for the event. The rest of the Racers, Scott Kayser, Jake Swartz, and Daniel Rex all shot 83's for the opening round. On Day 2, the weather took a turn for the worse, but yet the Racers continued as a team to be consistent. The team once again shot a 322 on the second day, and finished the event tied for 9th with Mercyhurst College. The second day scores for UNOH were Jason Klaus, Scott Kayser, and Jake Swartz all firing 79's, and Daniel Rex shot an 85. Overall, Jason Klaus finished the event tied for 11th place.
