Mat Holtsberry enters his first season as the head men's golf coach at University of Northwestern Ohio. Holtsberry was previously an assistant men's golf coach at Ohio Northern University. Holtsberry is a PGA Class "A" member. He has also been a PGA Teaching Professional since 1991. Holtsberry's highlights of his playing career include a 1987 OHSAA State Championship, a three-time Lima Junior Player of the Year from 1985-1987, and he also played NCAA Division I golf at New Mexico State University.

Holtsberry is married to Jodi and they have three children, Oliver, Grace, and Alex.
