In one year of play, the UNOH Racers have solidified their existence amongst AMC teams. The women's team finished the season 10-5 in AMC play while the men's team finished 9-4 in the league. Each team will host their first round tournament contest on Tuesday night inside The Garage. The women's game will tip off at 5:30 pm against Mt. Vernon Nazarene while the men will tip off at approximately 7:30 pm against Daemen. The two games will be a split session.

Walsh University owns the top seed for the women and men when the American Mideast Conference Tournaments tip off. Both six-team events will be played on Feb. 24, 28, and March 3.

On the women's side, Walsh, 19-11 overall, won a tiebreaker with Ohio Dominican and Daemen to earn the top seed. ODU, 17-11, also needed a tiebreaker to get the #2 seed.

In Tuesday's first round, #5 Mount Vernon Nazarene, 22-7, travels to #4 Northwestern Ohio, 17-12 while #6 Rio Grande, 19-11, heads to #3 Daemen, 21-7. The MVNU/UNOH winner plays at Walsh in one semifinal contest on Saturday with the Daemen/Rio Grande winner at Ohio Dominican in the other semi. The higher remaining seed will host the championship tilt on March 3.

The AMC women receive three automatic bids to the 18th Annual NAIA Division II National Tournament in Sioux City, Iowa which will be played on March 11-17. Shawnee State and Cedarville grabbed the first two. The third goes to the AMC Tournament champion.

In the men's bracket, the top two seeds went to #1 Walsh, 25-3, as well as #2 Mount Vernon Nazarene, 22-7. They earned first-round byes. Four teams tied for the final three spots with tiebreakers used to settle the outcome.

Tuesday's opening round has #5 Notre Dame, 18-11, at #4 Rio Grande, 20-10, while #6 Daemen, 20-9, travels to #3 Northwestern Ohio, 17-13. Saturday's semifinal match-ups have the Notre Dame/Rio Grande winner at Walsh and the Daemen/Northwestern Ohio winner at Mount Vernon Nazarene. The higher remaining seed will host the championship game on March 3.

The AMC men receive two automatic bids to the 18th Annual NAIA Division II National Tournament in Point Lookout, Mo. on March 11-17. Cedarville earned the first one by virtue of its AMC victory over Walsh. The second is awarded to the AMC Tournament champion.
