The UNOH Racers played their second game in the Hoops 4 Healing Classic against #3 nationally ranked Walsh University on Saturday afternoon. This was the second meeting between the two schools this season. The first matchup, Walsh University made their first ever visit to Racer Gymnasium and defeated the UNOH Racers. Saturday's contest showed the dominance Walsh has in the American Mideast Conference. Walsh defeated UNOH 83-53.

With both teams coming off nightcaps, shooting was going to provide the outcome of this game. It showed early and put the Racers into a deep hole as they shot a combined 24% from the field in the first half along with 12% from the three point line. The Racers halftime deficit was 24 and it would only extend in the second half.

For the game, the Racers shot 36% from the floor. They were heavily outrebounded 48-27. Only one Racer reached double figures and that was Josh Vorst who totaled 19 points. Marcus Addy led the rebounding with 7. Donovan DeLong chipped in all around with 8 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 steals.

For Walsh, Josh Johnson and Joe Shardo both totaled 13 points. Corey Jones, who in the last meeting had 26 points, only totaled 9.

With the loss the Racers drop to 2-9 on the season, while Walsh adds to the win column with a record of 8-1.

The Racers will be back in action on Wednesday, December 12th against Goshen College at 7:00 PM.
