Final Stats

The UNOH Racers were back in action Saturday afternoon following their nightcap from the night before. The night followed by day game showed to be too much for the Racers as UNOH hung with nationally ranked #6 Walsh University for the first 25 minutes of the contest. The Racers then fell off as the Cavaliers pushed forward to a 98-82 victory over the UNOH Racers.

The Racers put four players in double figures as they were led by Josh Vorst and his 18 points and also led with 6 rebounds. Isaac Bowers came off the bench with 17 points. Aaron Braun and Jason Sarno rounded out the double digit scoring with 16 and 13 points each. Brandon Miller led the assist attack with 6 assists.

UNOH was put into a running match from the beginning and fatigue set in early in the second half as the Racers were forced into 17 turnovers for the game. An early 13-0 run in the second half by the Cavaliers put UNOH into a hole that they could not overcome. Walsh put 5 players into double figures. Leading the way for the Cavs was Corey Jones who poured in 26. Brandon Weems and Lamar Skeeter each had 16 points. Eder Araujo chipped in 13 and also controlled the boards with 9 rebounds. Rounding out the double figure scorers was Eric Love who added 11 points.

The Racers will take the week to regroup and be back in action Friday, November 16th at Shawnee State University with tip-off set for 7 PM.
