Cody comes to UNOH from Hancock Central High School where he hit 6 homeruns and was voted team MVP. This three sport athlete lettered in baseball, basketball and football and is studying Automotive Technology at the University of Northwestern Ohio. "Cody is considered a great teammate by his peers and works diligently on trying to become the best player he can become. With hard work and time, Cody will be given a chance to prove to not only himself, but the entire program that he has what it takes to play college baseball."

Cody is the son of Paul and Tracy Wellman who reside in Hancock, New York
