Preston Thompson will give the Racers added depth to the pitching staff this spring. Graduating from Lakota West High School, Preston is coming back from surgery on his pitching arm. Missing the fall season due to an unfortunate wrist injury, Preston will have to work hard this winter to prepare for spring. "In order for Preston to see playing time this year, he must become and remain healthy. He possess an 83-84mph fastball with command of his breaking pitches and with added experience, Preston has a chance to become a very successful college pitcher."

Preston is the son of Rich and Trisha Thompson who reside in Cincinnati, Ohio
