Emily Crowell, a sophomore outside hitter from Rockford, Ohio, was named the MVP of the Point Park Invitational and the Player of the Week in the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference.

Crowell helped lead the Lady Racers to a 4-0 record and tournament championship at Point Park by amassing 61 kills, 20 digs and seven total blocks in 14 sets over four matches. Against the University of Rio Grande, she had 24 kills.

On the season, Crowell is second on the team in kills (155), third in blocks (22) and sixth in digs (54).

Crowell is majoring in Sports Marketing & Management and Specialized Studies in Business Administration.
