On Saturday, January 7, Jake Bolyard became the fourth men's basketball player join the 1,000-point club since athletics came back to UNOH. Bolyard is fourth on the scoring list with 1,034 points.

A 6-foot-2 sophomore guard, Bolyard has been the bright spot for the Racers this season. He leads the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference with 21.9 points per game, which is good for fifth in all of NAIA Division II men's basketball. He is second in the WHAC in free throw percentage (86.8 percent), sixth in field goal percentage (47.5 percent) and ninth in 3-point field goal percentage (35.5 percent).

Earlier this season, Bolyard scored 41 points against Rio Grande. The game is the highest point total by a WHAC player this season and fourth among NAIA Division II players. The nine 3-pointers he made in that game is the best in the NAIA Division II this season.
